According to the Health Insurance Act, you must identify yourself with a valid ID when receiving medical care. This can be a valid passport, European ID card, or driver&#8217;s license. This includes pregnancy, medication use, illnesses, allergies, and other physical or mental conditions. Treatments may sometimes run over, causing your appointment to start later than planned. We appreciate your understanding.<\/p>\n<p><b style=\"text-align: var(--text-align); color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size );\">Periodic Check-Ups<\/b><br><\/p>\n<p>For optimal oral care, we advise patients to come in for a check-up 1 to 2 times per year. If you have not had a check-up for more than 2 years, you will be automatically deregistered. You will then need to schedule an intake appointment to assess the current state of your mouth and develop a treatment plan.<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-align: var(--text-align); color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size );\">Making an Appointment<\/span><br><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Making an appointment is easy. You can schedule your next appointment directly at the reception after your check-up. If this is not possible, you can call us during our opening hours to make an appointment.<\/p>\n<p><b>Email and SMS Service<\/b><\/p>\n<p>After making an appointment, you will receive a confirmation by email. A few days before your appointment, you will also receive a reminder email. Additionally, we will send you an SMS reminder about your appointment. If, for any reason, you do not receive an email or SMS, the appointment will still stand as scheduled.<\/p>\n<p><b>Cancelling or Rescheduling an Appointment<\/b><\/p>\n<p>If you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance. We prefer cancellations to be made by phone. During our working hours, you can call or walk in. Outside our working hours, we refer you to the Dental Emergency Practice Spoedpoli Leiden at 0900 8602.<\/p>\n<p><b>Staying in the Practice<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival, please check in at the reception so your presence is recorded. If an appointment runs longer than planned and you are late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule due to time constraints. The costs for the missed appointment may be charged.<\/p>\n<p><b>Watch Over Your Belongings<\/b><\/p>\n<p>We advise you not to leave your belongings unattended. We Smile Dental Practice is not responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of your belongings. Aggression and violence are not tolerated and can lead to police involvement and deregistration from the practice.<\/p>\n<p><b>Your Practitioner<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Various dentists, dental hygienists, and preventive assistants work at We Smile Dental Practice. You can indicate your preference for a specific practitioner at the reception, and we will accommodate this where possible.<\/p>\n<p><b>Cost Estimate<\/b><\/p>\n<p>For treatments likely to cost more than \u20ac250, you will receive a cost estimate. This estimate is a preliminary calculation and may differ from the final costs due to adjustments during the treatment.<\/p>\n<p><b>Customer Satisfaction<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Your feedback is valuable to us. You can leave your appreciation on our website or share it with a specialist or reception staff.
