The answer is not the same for everyone.<br\/>Many people are accustomed to scheduling a check-up appointment every six months. That can be an appropriate interval, but nowadays the focus is primarily on your <strong>personal oral health and risk of dental problems<\/strong>.<br\/>Someone with healthy and stable teeth may sometimes be checked less frequently than someone who regularly gets cavities, has gum problems, or has an extensive dental history.<br\/>In this article, you will read how often a dental check-up may be necessary, which factors play a role, and when it is better not to wait until your next check-up.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"h-moet-u-echt-iedere-zes-maanden-naar-de-tandarts\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Do you really need to visit the dentist every six months?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not necessarily.<br\/>A check-up every six months is a familiar rhythm for many people and can be appropriate in many situations.
